Homebuyer Education

Community Housing Initiatives, Inc.'s Homebuyer Education program is a NeighborWorks America course entitled "Realizing the American Dream." In this eight-hour course participants will learn all the essential aspects of beginning homeownership such as — How To Look For a Home; How To Choose a Lender and Realtor; How to Develop a Home Budget; How to Understand and Repair Your Credit; How to Have Your Home Inspected For Major Flaws Before You Buy; and How to Maintain and Keep your Home. Upon completion, participants will be fully prepared to look for and obtain a new home. Participants will receive a certificate for completing the course, which is a prerequisite of many first-time homebuyer assistance programs.

The program is not just for beginners, if you need a refresher course on any aspect of the training, I encourage you to sign up. I promise you will not be disappointed. Please sign up today for our next class and begin the Dream!
