The Daily Reporter shined a light on a very special program launch for our senior residents in Spencer, Iowa. Here's a clip from their article, you can read it in its entirety here.
Brittany Spieker, with CHI, worked with volunteers to coordinate delivery at Sunset Apartments later in the afternoon. Grand Avenue Community Kitchen also began warm meal delivery on Monday and Thursday evenings while maintaining its existing drive-thru options. Any Spencer senior in need of food or meal delivery while remaining at home, along with anyone wishing to volunteer or provide financial support toward the ongoing outreach effort, should contact [email protected].
